SHAMEFULL DESICION OF CSF!!

The Executive Committee of the Croatian Sailing Federation at its seventh meeting brought SHAMEFUL DECISION about the abolition of the coefficient 1.6 of the International New Year's Regatta in Hvar for the Optimist class.

Our New Year International Regatta has 35th years long tradion, for many years we have unreserved support of the international federations ILCA and ISAF to organise Europa Cup finals for Laser classes, so it make us even more sad and angry that our local federation gives more interest to personal interests than the interests of our sailors and sailing.

We invite all sailors and friends of sailing in Croatia and abroad to support our fight against the president  Marijan Hanžeković and the Executive Committee that serves to shame of Croatian sailing!

At the end of this report we promise you that we will again organize the best regatta in Croatia, and we are confident that Hvar will again welcome New Year with many Optimists and Lasers. We will fight  against this shameful decision, and we will once again prove how wrong they are!
