50 years of New Year's sailing

This year Sailing Club Zvir is proudly celebrating 50 years of New Year's sailing in Hvar. We organized the first New Year's regatta in 1974, and we continued to organize it every year except 1991. and 1992 because of the war in Croatian, and then we skipped 2020. because of the COVID-19.

We organized the first Europa Cup regatta in 1989. and from 2001. till today Europa Cup Croatia has been organised every year.

In a few days, we will meet again for the 47th International New Year's Regatta and we have confirmed the Europa Cup for the same dates in 2025.

We are looking forward to the big celebration of jubilee 50th International New Year's Regatta in 2027.

Discount on ferry tickets

Jadrolinija has granted a 50% discount on passenger, car & trailer ferry tickers for participants of the 47th International New Year's Regatta in a period from December 20th, 2024 till January 10th, 2025 on lines

  • Split - Stari Grad - Split (635)
  • Drvenik - Sućuraj - Drvenik (632)

Participants must buy return tickets with a granted discount at the port of departure. Tickets can be bought in Jadrolinija agencies in Split and Drvenik.

Return tickets must be validated by the organizer (stamped and signed) during the race entry procedure. Tickers that are not validated by the organizer will not be accepted by Jadrolinija on the return voyage.
